Broadcasts

This Friday, August 19, at 1:30 pm Central Daylight Time, Hank Jenkins-Smith will be doing a live broadcast to the Council members and Section officers of the Public Policy Section. He'll be talking with us about some issues relating to the Policy Studies Journal. If you can, please set aside some time for this broadcast. The broadcast could last as long as an hour, but probably will be less than that. You'll be able to ask questions and make comments during the broadcast via email.

To view the broadcast, you'll need the latest version of Windows Media Player. If you do not have the latest version, the links at the bottom of this page will take you to the site for updating, based upon the kind of computer and operating system you have. These updates are free. Please update, if necessary, prior to the broadcast, as the updating process may take about 15 minutes or so.

You'll be able to view the broadcast by clicking here. After the broadcast, please send feedback to Ken Bickers about the process itself - pros, cons, suggestions, anything. One of my hopes is that this technology can be used by the section for regular presentations to the section membership by book authors or for other purposes. I'd like to be able to learn from Hank's broadcast, so that presentations to the whole membership will go smoothly and efficiently.
